| 27th NATIONAL NIGHT OUT AT GEORGE PARK |
| Tue, Aug 3rd, 2010 6:00:00 pm - Tonight the Paxtonia Fire Company and the rest of Lower Paxton Township Fire Departments, Police Department, South Central EMS and other area Emergency Service providers met at Thomas B. George, Jr. Park, on Nyes Road. To help celebrate National Night Out for safety on August 3rd, 2010. The 27th National Night out, sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch, and Lower Paxton Township is a unique crime and drug prevention event held every year nation wide to help heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnership awareness, and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. There was a lot to do for everyone from food, games, emergency vehicles, helicopters, etc. |
