| NO SLEEP FOR THE 34 HOUSE |
| Wed, Jul 7th, 2010 12:30:00 am - The night started out around 12:30 A.M. with a reported brush fire in the Hunt Club development. Chief 34 responded to the area; the fire was in a 100’ X 50’ area of brush and trees, and was well involved and spreading fast towards homes. Engine 34 went on location and hit a close hydrant, then deployed two attack lines and the deck gun to knock down the bulk of the fire. Engine 33’s crew assisted the Engine crew with fire attack and checking for hot spots. At 5:15 A.M. Engine 34-1 was dispatched to assist Company 36 with a Tractor Trailer fire at the T/A truck stop. The Engine Company assisted Company 36 with fire attack and overhaul. Crews went available around 7:30 A.M. and had to then start cleaning all the equipment used overnight.
